A work in progress.. I'll add as I think of them

1. I'm originally from Northeast Pennsylvania, a small town called Factoryville to be exact
2. My birthday is November 4th
3. I'm the oldest of five children. I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers
4. When I was little, I loved "Lassie". My mom says when I heard even a few notes from "Greensleeves" I would start to cry.
5. I had a security blanket from the time I was born until I turned 8, when the remains of said blanket (a mere strip of satin) mysteriously vanished during a move.
6. I also sucked my thumb until the blanket vanished
7. I am of Irish, German, Welsh and Lithuanian descent
8. I was a cheerleader in high school. Football and Basketball
9. I was captain my senior year
10. I wanted to be an art teacher when I was in high school
11. I also wanted to teach special education
12. If I had to do it all over again, I'd be a consitutional or civil rights attorney
13. I attended two colleges (Keystone University and The University of Scranton)
14. I did not graduate from either
15. I'm a Deadhead and I've probably been one all my life (inherited from my Dad)
16. I like all sorts of music.. except country
17. Toby Keith makes my skin crawl.. seriously. From the sound of his voice to the hat and boots - HURL
18. But I do love Dixie Chicks
19. My favorite color is green
20. But I really love orange too
21. I collect antique sewing machines (only the people powered kind!)
22. I don't sew as much as I used to
23. I love politics (yeah right, like you didn't notice that already!)
24. I'm a progressive, democrat, liberal, socialist - call me what you will but "left is right!"
25. I hate, despise, abhor George W. Bush (yeah, right, pretend you didn't notice that already too!)
26. I heart Russ Feingold.
27. I have four children. We have absolutely no plans to expand the tribe.
28. I've been knitting since 2003 when I finally asked my grandmother to teach me.
29. My yarn and fabric stashes are large enough, that they truly require their own living space.
30. I have yet to finish a sweater (seriously.. don't act shocked!) I have yet to finish an ADULT sized sweater (edited on 1/31/07 at the request of Jessalu!)
31. I watch Keith Olbermann on MSNBC, every night. If I can't watch it live, I record it on my dvr.. and that helps his ratings anyway!
32. I'm a dog person.. and I really dislike cats. Ask me why we have a cat, and I'll point the finger at my daughter (who incidentally, takes little interest in caring for her cat.)
33. I'm addicted to citrus Fresca
34. I love chocolate, but Hershey's sucks.
35. I'm terribly disorganized
36. I hate folding laundry
37. I hate dirty floors. I vacuum and/or sweep several times a day sometimes
38. I have brown hair
39. and blue eyes
40. I don't tan.. only scorch
41. I currently live in the state of New York
42. I really don't like the state of New York very much
43. I bought my first spinning wheel in the spring of 2006
44. I love to spin.. its my meditation
45. My husband is my best friend
46. he is first only to Krissy
47. and my sisters Tracy and Jill
48. Muriel's Wedding is my favorite movie
49. Ok, actually its tied with Fiddler On The Roof
50. My High School 20th Reunion is next month (November 2006) EEK!
