And he now has a name! As of 5PM central when I turned in his birth certifcate paperwork, he offically became Connor Kinepoway Martin!

Connor is not nursing very well due to some jaundice caused by ABO incompatability. Currently he is bundled in what is called a "bili bed" with a "bili blanket" on his tummy. With any luck, his bili levels will stay the same or decrease overnight and we can go home tomorrow with a bili blanket in tow. Otherwise, Connor will likely spend a day or two in the NICU to get those levels down.
Its an awful thing for our family having to go through this with each of our babies, but thats what DH and I get for falling in love without comparing our blood types (LOL!)

Anyway...I pumped for the first time today (with the new Medela Symphony pump. OMG this thing is COOL!) I got a small amount of colostrum but you know..the stuff is like liquid gold. At his next feeding I'll try to get it in him.
