Thankfully, Connor's bilirubin level is down to 11.5 (we've been shooting for something under 12 to discontinue the bili blanket!) However it was decided that since its a weekend, to keep the bili blanket over the weekend to be sure he doesnt creep up again. We are not using the blanket hard core like we have been though (prior to yesterday's results, Connor was using the blanket 24 hours a day with only short breaks from it)
He is much more alert and interactive now that the jaundice is clearing (YAY!) Feeding times have become much less stressful, trying to keep him awake and eating. And I can practically see him chunking up (he gained 4oz between Wednesday and Friday!)

Cassidy, Alex and Dylan are doing great with their new baby brother. In fact Cassidy has turned into a little mommy. Last night Grandmommy (Judith) asked to take the kids for dinner and overnight (Happy Mothers Day to me!) so that I could get some rest/ bonding time with Connor. At about 9PM Judith called and put the kids on speaker phone to tell me good night and Cassidy was most concerned about how Connor was (isn't that sweet?)
And yes...I got lots of rest last night! Its the first time in a long time that I remember going to bed THAT early!
