I made a mei tei carrier!
And it was so much fun (and its purty!) I *must* make more. I need to make a few adjustments next time around but the first one is a success. Much easier to use (and more comfy) than my sling. And it was a *breeze* to load in 28lb Dylan and carry him around. Today I'm going to try D in the back carry position. I made the shoulder ties out of black midweight WindPro. I won't do that again! They were a real chore to turn right side out. Next time I'll make cotton ties like the waist ones, and just make a sliding tube of windpro for padding on the shoulders.

Isn't the asian brocade stunning? I found myself stash diving yesterday imagining all the possibilities!

So aside from cutting another mei tei out today, I have some knitting planned. And to plant the flat of impatiens and petunias that I bought yesterday at Shopko. Summer finally feels like its here!
