recovery?

December 22nd, 2004

We're all feeling a little bit better now, thankfully! We all still have some lingering symptoms, mostly at night (chills, coughs, etc) but for the most part, the "kill me now" feelings are waning.

The latest news on the move? Our house is up on the market! Our realtor came by on Monday night and we did all the paperwork. I expected it to be on the MLS by yesterday but even as of this morning, I didn't find it. Any day now I suppose!
I'm really hopeful for a quick offer!
The house search in New York? Its difficult since we can't just go out there and look right now. The likely scenario is that we will get a small apartment for Richard for during the work week. And the kids and I will stay at moms. This way we can aggressively search for a permanent place and be able to actually SEE our new home, and its neighborhood. It is just totally unrealistic to do it from here, especially in such a short timeframe.
We are slowly packing little by little, and are painting the whole house over the next few days before we start to get showing appointments.

Other news? Really nothing, although I learned to knit socks on two circular knitting needles by watching my friend Becky (who incidentally has only been knitting for a few months and jumped right into socks...you go girl!) So I have baby socks on the needles right now for Connor. But other than those I have the usual plethura of wool pants and soakers in my basket on the needles as well. I've really been speed knitting lately, actually FINISHING personal projects which for the past few months has been unheard of.

Around a year ago on this day..
