so now I'm totally in the mood to watch Snow Day, unfortunately its already packed for the move.
Out of the "up to 10 inches" of snow forcasted, we got 2, maybe 3" (I haven't measured). But..I'm not going to complain...it is snow.

See there is this misconception about Wisconsin. You tell someone from another state where you live and their eyes get big and full of amusement. Almost 90% of them will immediately say "Oh, I bet you own snow boots!". Wisconsin is a pretty big state, and the weather varies depending on where you are. For example, a few years ago in April, we drove up to the Rhinelander area to visit friends. When we left Madison, it was a balmy 68 and we were actually wearing shorts! As we got closer to our destination, it got colder...and colder...and once we got to our friends house, there was still snow on the ground!
Anyway...yes I do own boots.
I moved to Wisconsin in the fall of 1997 and upon arrival, Richard said "we need to get you some snow boots!" So off we go shopping for the perfect pair of snow boots, purchased them, brought them home, and since that day, have worn them....TWICE.
I was about to put them in a box for Goodwill a few weeks ago, however decided to hold on to them,... I'm told, Cortland NY gets an insane amount of snow (YAY!) If I must live somewhere cold...at least give me some snow every now and then!

Enough about snow.
The movers called yesterday with our loading date, and our window of arrival, (when they'll be delivering our stuff.) My eyes start to twitch everytime I start to think about what has to be done yet and basically the whole process.
Unfortunately, no offers on the house yet and that is bumming me out. I'm trying to be realistic though, as most people don't shop for homes this time of year.

On to the important stuff...fiber and needles...
I attempted to cast on rogue yesterday and needed a shot of tequila by the end of the day. Read about it here Today I'm finishing up some Holy Sheep orders, and maybe at the end of the day, spend some time on socks I started last week.
