Happy Valentines Day
February 14th, 2005I've typed, backspaced, corrected and replaced this post so many times already.
I'm just in one of those moods and nothing positive would come of my ranting.
The few good things I can report on?
*Cassidy started at her new school this morning and as far as I could tell, liked it. She was especially pleased that they have a class pet (A guinea pig named Brownie)
*Connor's first two teeth poked through (bottom middle) and has been a much more pleasant baby to be around!
*We managed to get the crib put together. So Connor has graduated from the co-sleeper.
*We also managed to get some more things taken care of in the kids rooms (ridding the rooms of empty boxes and unpacked/put away some toys and books)
The unfavorable things?
*snow
*our trip to PA was cancelled on Saturday due to snow
*snow
*Everything in central New York costs a small fortune. (79 cents a pound for bananas? I can get ORGANIC bananas in Madison for 79 cents a pound!)
*did I mention snow?
(Ok Richard, you can roll your eyes now)

79 cents for bananas! Unheard of. Although the last time I got naners at Woodman’s they had only green ones. That was two weeks ago and only now are they starting to turn yellow.
I remember being sticker shocked in Chicago though for the price of food. You’ll get used to it and remember the good old days in Wisconsin where everything was pratically free.
