I imagine all the snow will be gone by this afternoon with all this rain.

I did end up baking a cake yesterday. The glitch? We were totally out of vegetable oil. So I looked in my spice cupboard and realized I still had some safflower oil. Never used it for baking before (only used it to make soap) and right on the label "excellent for baking or cooking". I was skeptical but decided to give it a whirl.

Mental note: NEVER bake a cake with safflower oil. BLECH! The cake tastes like one big vitamin E capsule.

In the trash it goes and we'll try to make a cake today with the vegetable oil I picked up at the market last night!

Oh and I finally got the dig. camera hooked up to the PC since my mac can't seem to pick up the network. So I was able to grab the pictures I took of Connor yesterday. I'll try to get some of the house up by tonight, though, it may be tomorrow before I get to it.
