Following Alison's lead, its Knit A Long Tuesday.

What am I knitting along with? LOL...nothing really. My yarn for the t-shirt hasnt been purchased yet. But I do think I'm going to cast one on today in the smallest size for Cassidy, in Lion Brand Cotton Ease from my stash.

Rebecca, thank you for the yarn suggestions for the t-shirt. I swear my head hurts from all the web surfing trying to find a suitable substitute. I don't have a Hobby Lobby nearby (none in the states of NY or PA) Funny there was one back in Madison and I rarely went there. I think I bought a ball of Lion Brand sock yarn there once but thats it. It was CLEAR on the other side of town, and with so many yummy yarn stores in town, they were always my first stop.

I do think I'm going to go with the Stone Cotton though. Herrschners has it on sale, but the colors I would want are back ordered and not available until early May! I think the yarn store in Binghamton carries it, so I'll check it out there (or find a reason to go to Ithaca cuz I think Knitting Machines Etc had it too)

It does make me sad though. The Calmer is well...wow sort of nice. If you can find it, or someone with it, its worth petting

Since my HSY stuff is in limbo, I casted on a size 1 soaker in leftover Montana (Citrus colorway)

I really couldnt get sleepy last night, so I worked on it until 1:30 AM. Wow..I'm just about done!

Originally I was going to start socks last night in one of these before I picked up the citrus yarn for the soaker. I just can't decide on a pattern. Anyone care to suggest one? Basic but "pretty"?

And I need to fix this sweater up. I bought it at Label Shopper for Cassidy for a whopping 2 bucks.

The sleeves are way too long though. I'm going to pull out the sleeve hem and rip it back then redo the rib and bind off.

So sock suggestors...please comment and leave a link to a good sock pattern. I havent made many socks so options are pretty wide open. I've done Broadripple, Dawn Brocco's cable clog socks (speaking of which..I finished them and need to snap a pick once they are laundered...I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!) And I currently have the ribbed anklet sock from Bernat on the needles in Sock Garden from KnitPicks.  I have to say...the pattern is written horribly so I'm not in love with knitting them though it is pretty mindless. And I'm also not exactly loving the way the Sock Garden is knitting up. Yes its incredibly soft but I don't love the pattern its leaving. Maybe its just the colorway (Morning Glory if I remember correctly)
