I was just checking into the hospital to be induced at exactly 37 weeks.

No Connor won't be one until tomorrow. But the process of his arrival started one year ago today. I was so convinced that the labor would be quick, and that he would have an April 27th birthday. So much for that!

Since I have something else planned for tomorrow's post, I thought today I'd do a flashback from the archives...

His arrival. I'm still amazed that at three weeks early, he was as big as he was. I'm fairly confident, that if he hadn't taken a great big pee during his big debut, he would have topped 8lbs.

Watching my children sleep is not a new habit

Anyway, I'm a little sad to see my last baby, leave infancy and creep into toddler-hood (if he would only start toddling!) I tell myself that these milestones which made their mark much earlier with Cassidy, Alex and Dylan (like crawling, teeth, talking, walking, etc) are just Connor's way of staying mama's "itty bitty" just a little bit longer.
