We had a great time this past weekend and spent almost all of our time outdoors since the weather was amazing! We even cancelled the trip to the theatre since it was so nice. Who wants to sit in a theatre when its so gorgeous outside?

We had a really great time with Tracy and Jay. We played on the slip n slide that Kira bought for the kids back in April and even filled the kids pool on Sunday. Cooked on the grill, drank frozen raspberry and strawberry daiquiris, and some of us even got a tan. Well, not me. I have two colors in the summer. Transparent white or sun burn red. I got my new glasses on Saturday, and my new contacts. Its the first time in 16 years that I've worn contacts. Its weird but I'm getting more used to them everyday. I think my new glasses are awesome too. Tracy wasnt exactly thrilled with my choice since she was cheering on a different style, but I like the ones I ended up with. Smaller frame than my previous glasses, darker frame color. I think they're pretty stylin'. Maybe I'll have Cassidy snap a pic of me wearing them.

Knitworthy content:

I finished the blue licorice twist shorts for Connor and they are currently outside on my drying rack. I lanolized them right away this morning and I imagine they'll be dry and ready to use by this afternoon. I have to say..they rock. I love love love em!

I also worked another inch or so on the soaker for Connor in the laguna skies farm wool.

and finally put down the honeymoon cami until I can have some totally un-interupted time to rip back and fix some things.
