A departure from my Katrina rage, a happy (and sad moment)
Yesterday was the the first day of school! Cassidy entered the first grade, and Alex started Kindergarten. Admittedly, I shed a few tears when Alex stepped onto the bus. The first of many more "letting go" moments.
I'm happy to report that both kids had a fantastic day! And Dylan accompanied me to a "first day of school" breakfast with many of the mommies in my mom's group. I'm told, its an annual ritual.
