SOCKS!
September 19th, 2005And they travelled all the way from Germany. My pal was the talented Alexandra!
Drumroll.....
Aren't they stunning?
And here they are, warming my piggies. I just love them.
Thank you so much Alexandra!
I will be posting later tonight (I think) with a rip and wind project! Dylan and I made a run to the thrift store this morning. I had been waiting to go, so I'd be sure they would have the winter stuff out (sweaters for rippin'!)
I scored too! Four sweaters. One bulky beautiful cotton/acrylic. A brand new Old Navy 100% wool, a SILK/cotton/angora beauty (looks like laceweight!) and an angora/wool/nylon in multi colors. That one will be fun!
It was the best day I've had sweater hunting to date. And of course, Dylan scored too. He was such a good kid while mama dug for sweaters, that he brought home a new X-Men action figure, in its original package. Much to Daddy's dismay, upon coming through the door, said xman was de-packageified as Daddy whined "well bud, you just seriously decreased its value".

I’m glad you like them. It was the first time I knitted some kind of lacy pattern…
And now all the facts I forgot:
the yarn is 45% cotton, 42% virgin wool and 13% polyamid, it’s machine washable.
Did you follow the German elections? Strange situation in a way.
Best wishes from old europe
