Busy!
November 10th, 2005I don't have anything of substance to post about. Just that I'm BUSY. Richard's parents arrive tomorrow morning. I have mahjong tonight (reminder, need to bake something to take!) Need to clean the house, catch up a bit of laundry. Yada yada yada.
Been knitting as much as I can to get gift scarves done and its going so s l o w l y. I MUST get these done so I can concentrate on other gift knitting! And kid's winter hats! And start Rogue! UGH
I want Mrs. Weasly's magic knitting needles!
Connor had his second speech therapy session this week and although he was hell on wheels (he had just woke up from his nap) he does seem to "click" with the speech pathologist (shes great!) We're working on signs with him so that until he starts to use speech, we can at least communicate. Hes picked up "more" really well. And we're working on "eat", "drink", "ball", "again", "milk". There are times when we swear he says something, but its not at all consistent. I really long for the day when he says "mama" with meaning.

I remember when my son Ian first started speech therapy, a little over a year ago. I also longed for the day when he said “mama” with meaning and believe me he means it now! “Mommy come here, Mommy I want this, Mommy I want that”. I can’t imagine getting tired of it yet since it took so long to get there.
It will happen.
