Happy Halloween
November 1st, 2005We're back from Pennsylvania!
Since we can, we went to Grandma's to go trick or treating. I know it sounds absolutely silly, but I love my small hometown and have always dreamed of taking my kids trick or treating on the same streets I did as a child. So we did!
Back: Cheyenne (Virgil's little sister) and Cassidy
Front: nephew Ethan, Dylan and Alex
The kids had a blast, even though Alex and Dylan started getting sleepy about halfway through. We are really glad we brought the big stroller for that very reason (besides the ultra large basket on it being ideal for dumping candy from already full and heavy trick or treat bags!) We were only out for about an hour and a half, but the kids had their fill of walking. Even though it was a mild night, the breeze was cool and the boys especially were complaining of cold hands (oops..should have remembered gloves!)
This morning before we left, I had Olyvia model the Ann Norling caps, and a LTK bonnet I made for her. See the October Photo Album for pictures!

My son went to a halloween-birthday-party as a ghost. No trick or treating in Germany though, but the kids go singing for sweets around st. martin - with lanterns instead of costumes.
