Good thoughts needed!

December 6th, 2005

Richard had a surprise phone interview yesterday. At the end he didn't feel confident he'd get a call back. But they called back again early this morning and asked for an in person interview. This position is in Syracuse.
But a position *I* have had a "good feeling" with, is the thing I'm most excited about! Richard finally faxed his resume` to them late yesterday afternoon and they promptly called this morning asking to interview him on Friday! So the kids will skip school on Friday and we'll go down to moms on Thursday night. We had planned on going down on Friday after school to spend the weekend. But its rather pointless for Richard to drive all the way down there, back home, get me and kids, and drive all the way back to moms.

And I'm tickled that tonight I get to try out a spinning wheel! Loren  has invited me over for her Spinning group! I'll be taking along some knitting to do, but also my roving and drop spindle. This is all dependent on the weather though. Its currently snowing pretty heavily, and I hate driving in the snow....so I'm keeping my fingers cross that the snow stops.

Knit update: King Of All Things crown #1's first color is done and I just switched to the second color. I think I can finish the knitting up on this by tomorrow morning and get it felted. Once that one is done, I'll go back to concentrating on the socks.

Around a year ago on this day..

Hey don’t worry, if the weather gets really bad tonight you can still come over…maybe some weekend and try the wheel and meet the critters.

I’m so horribly busy this days that I’m always late with my comments, BUT I wish you all the best and good luck to your husband! This job-thing really can make you mad, I know. I’ll have a *hm* casting (?) for an engagement on Dec 21st. This job would be a great christmas gift.
