I finished it up yesterday. Then started sock two at Paula's last night, while we had a nice "knit night" in front of the fire. By the time I left I had the cuff and part of the heel flap done (what can I say, we talk more than knit!) But as of right now, heel done, turned, gusset decreases done and I'm zipping away on the length of the foot. I MAY finish it tonight if I'm lucky!
But first I'm going to make some spicy cocktail shortbreads, a recipe Paula and Cliff printed out for me last night. Cliff made them for our last mahj night and oh my gooooodness are they good. Just enough sweet, with plenty of hot and spicy! And I have a pot of homemade hot and sour soup simmering on the stove (really, you couldnt imagine the heavenly smell in my house right now!)
