The elusive “Cell Sucker”

December 1st, 2005

Well, a miracle happened! Santa, also known as NaNa (and her friend Dolly) happened along a Shell Shocker at Evil Mart (WalMart for those of you that don't already know about my extreme distaste for this company) Alas, it was 20.00 cheaper (still did not include the required Tyco battery, but still) So, Santa will come through.
I'm tickled and blown away that NaNa and Dolly came through for Alex. This little boy, even though he so desperately wanted one, told us, he had changed his mind about wanting one. We were a little shocked by this so we continued to ask him "why" because a few days before, he seemed so hell bent on it. His reply: "Its too expensive". He will be so delighted on Christmas morning, and SO surprised. And I'm a happy mother....my boy deserves that toy.

In Connor news, he continues to improve. He still sounds ucky, but we can tell he feels better. His nap schedule of course is all messed up though. I'm not sure if its actually all of the changes in the past few days and lack of sleep, or the prednisone, that hypes him up (everything that goes up, must come down)
I personally didn't sleep very well last night. I kept waking to check on him, thinking to myself "he must not be breathing....I can't hear him!" But...for the first time in days, he slept all through the night!

Stay tuned for an honest to goodness, fiber related post sometime today.
EDIT: I added a pic of the dropped stitch scarf to my "finished objects" photo album. I will be taking pictures of other gift knitting (socks and more!) And adding them if I'm able to get on the PC again today!

Around a year ago on this day..

yeah prednisone makes my youngest son bop off the walls. He hasn’t taken it in a long time but I won’t forget the effects. Glad things are getting better all around, I miss your posts!
