Jaywalking
January 5th, 2006I have to say, I don't think I share Cara's Jaywalker love.
Maybe its the Opal Petticoat, I'm not sure. But every time I try to do that double decrease, it feels like my precious size 1 birch needles are going to snap. And I'm just not liking the look of the knit fabric. Despite tight knitting on size 1s, the stitches just look too loose to me.
I suppose I'll sleep on it before I frog it and rewind my Opal.

I had to frog mine for just that reason. I was convinced my needles were going to snap! Although I didn’t have a problem with it being too loose, but I am an extremely tight knitter as a rule (too much usually) I am going up to a 2 since I have those in metal to see if I have better luck.
