First Things First, da new baby

Been dragging my feet, I know. But in my defense, its a lot more fun, actually holding him, than taking pictures! Ryan has had a rough week however, battling some jaundice. Just like all of my kids, he has had to deal with ABO Incompatibility Jaundice. He narrowly missed a stay in the NICU, but thankfully his levels peaked and started trending down. I'm so happy that Tracy and Darrick did not have to deal with that scary situation. If anyone doesn't remember our ordeal with ABO and newborn Connor, go back to the April and May 2004 archives. Tracy is still using the bili blanket at home, but has been a bit more liberal about taking him off it for easier nursing. Now that the jaundice is slowly clearing, he is a bit more perky, and feeding so much better! Thankfully he is also a champion nurser, so we look forward to those chunky cheeks getting even chunkier!
Just for you Llamie, I'm creating a photo album and as I get pics I'll add them there, that is until you can get your butt up here to hold him yourself!
