The Bill O’Reilly Smackdown
February 2nd, 2006I'm putting this in politics, but it really has little do do with it. This is about journalistic integrity, with a bit of some bad blood thrown in.
We all know...I totally heart Keith Olbermann. I find him to be the last of the true journalists with a seat in front of a tv camera. And he throws in a laugh or two as well, just to keep you interested. If you've never watched Keith's show, Countdown, it airs weeknights on MSNBC at 8PM EST. Worth a watch! And now that we're living in the cable barren boondocks, let me tell you, I am jonesin' Keith bigtime!
Anyway...to the heart of this post...
Bill O'Reilly is a great big fat liar, with dropping radio and tv ratings. Keith keeps reminding him of that and apparently Bill doesn't like it.

Goodness I miss Keith! And Loren, the Bill O'Reilly defender we both know would soooooo love this! Please, pass it on to him, please please please!

Thanks for the link. I, too, love Keith Olbermann deeply and profoundly. Almost as much as I loathe O’Reilly. Nice way to start the day.

I think I’ve only seen him once before. We don’t get MSNBC or at least we didn’t but often we get stations in the clear for no particular reason.
Can’t engage in “mean” politics anymore with you know who. We declared a truce. He wanted to take you, me and Mary out to lunch or for coffee, his treat! But I told him you were moving that week. It was a nice gesture tho’.

We try and watch Countdown all the time - but you’re right - Bill is an ass! We love Keith too!
