Its time!

For a new category.. SPINNING!
And its time for me to more seriously shop around for the right wheel!
We've put off getting serious about this for various reasons. However its time to buckle down, research, get suggestions, find the best price, and buy.
I was going to just go for a very basic home wheel. No bells and whistles, just plain,... think Ashford Traditional. But no, I need something I can take to Loren's, or to guild, or to Wisconsin.. easily.
So tell me spinners, which wheel do you have and love? Specifically those of you that are so lucky to have the Lendrum or Ashford Joy, both of which, fold for easier travel. I'm linking to The Woolery because so far, they have the best deal (in terms of goodies and freebies included in the purchase) that I've come across yet.
Joy or Lendrum owners, where did you buy yours? What was your experience with the seller/shop/site, shipping costs, etc. Would you suggest single or double treadle? Which and why?
Is there another travel wheel that I'm overlooking, that I shouldn't?
Better, have one of these wheels that you want to sell me?
To end, you have to see this... Golding Wheels, truly the Rolls Royce of spinning wheels!

I have no idea. I bought mine based on a random number generator. This spinning thing should be amusing.

I really want a wheel. I’m thinking that may be the big birthday or Christmas gift I ask for this year!

I have a Lendrum, which I bought without trying it and the more I use it the more I LOVE it. Portable, practical, the biggest bang for the buck - you can’t go wrong with it at all.

Hi,
Yes, I like the Woolery too.. that’s where I got my majacraft Rose (that I LOVE!
I bought the Rose before I knew how to spin, just because it was pretty. I couldn’t spend a fortune, but I also didn’t want a really cheap wheel that I was going to be unhappy with in a month either.. so that’s how I decided. Good luck.. I’m sure you’ll love whatever wheel you get!

The treadle question is a good one. For me I don’t like the idea of both feet stuck in one place, I am just more comfortable with one. With my Louet, I will often stick 2 feet on the treadle when I get tired. Generally I ply on that wheel at top speed so one foot needs a break. On the Kromski, it’s not set up in a way that you can do that.
