And so, my baby is TWO! When did he grow up? Seriously! Seems just yesterday that he came home from the hospital.
I'm so proud of this little guy. He is making such progress with his communication. A few more signs here and there, saying words, straight out of the blue.. even full sentences sometimes. He gave up his bottle without much fuss, is moving to a big boy bed sometime this week (as soon as we find time to put together his Little Tykes race car bed) Wow.. I just can't believe 2 years has gone by,.. or that my baby, isn't really a baby any more. I'll stop.. before I really do start to get weepy.
Krissy and Owen came up to spend the weekend with us, and help celebrate Connor's birthday. The kids were so excited to spend time with them and talked about it the entire week before, counting down the days one by one.
Besides the kids having a total blast together, there were movies and cocktails (Can you believe, Kris hadn't seen RENT?!?!?) And a whole lot of the Kris and Carla variety of girltalk (which sometimes can go on, and on, and on into the wee hours of the morning!)
Note to Nana: Sorry we didn't get pictures of him opening your gifts. We did that first thing in the morning. I hadn't even had any caffeine, so functioning an already wonky camera was out of the question. But..he does love that block bus!
