No pictures today..

I was going to highlight my growing Flower Basket Shawl today, but I can't for the life of me, find my pincushion and straight pins so that I can block it all out and detail the pattern. Apparently the pincushion still resides in a yet to be opened/unpacked box. I'll work on that for the weekend.

So straight to the heart of things..

  • My Sock Pal, Ann received her Retro Rib socks. They fit, she loves them,.. I'm a happy knitter!
  • I survived my dreaded root canal this morning. In fact I feel about 1000 times better than I anticipated. Gotta love darvocet.
  • Yeah, Mahjong tonight! I'll be riding shotgun in Janet's van to Skaneateles tonight, to meet Paula and Nan for sushi, sake, and some mahj (no sake for me, darvocet is the only cockail I'll need)
  • Still no socks in my mailbox, but since my sock pal stated she was from Canada, I expect them to show up a little later than normal. I'm not worried. Sock pal, if you read this, just posting this so you know they haven't arrived yet. :)

    Yes, Carla, I love them. And Lucia is coveting them, which is all the better. You’ve put out some mighty good sock-knitting carma there, so I’m sure you’ll get yours soon. Thanks again!

    Mahjong? In Skaneateles? Cool! That always looked like a fun game when I’d see ladies playing it on TV.. but I never actually saw anyone play.. maybe you should do a blog tutorial *grin*
