The cure for the summer time suck ..

.. is obviously some insomnia. Truth be told, I put The Mike Malloy Show on through the kids computer in the living room, while Richard played Mortal Kombat on the Xbox (hurl!). I completely zenned out and stitched like mad, listening to Mike vent about yesterdays house debate on stem cell research. Before I knew it it, several hours went by. Two more repeats to go, and sock number one can be cast off. I may finish before September after all!

Wow, that is such a pretty sock! I have the sock syndrome where I finish one sock, and then never make it’s mate. I have a dozen mismatched socks around our apartment!
I noticed you’re listening to Blue October. They’re one of my absolute favorites, and they’re from Austin (which is practically where I live), so I’ve seen them live a few times. GREAT BAND.
Also, I don’t think your “What I’m reading now” area has changed since this thing started. Do you have any other David Sedaris books (I have all of his)? Or do you have The Yarn Harlot’s other book (At Knit’s End)?
Is there anything you’re been craving? Not just in the yarn department, but anything at all?
