..We've just been extremely busy. Car shopping, a Bluegrass festival, Knitstock, nearly finishing my Chickami. Very good reasons that kept me from blogging.

The big news however, is that the Dell was not dead. I had a feeling it wasn't. It was the hard drive instead of the motherboard (odd that all of the symptoms signaled the motherboard) We still have a lot of work to do, transferring files and stuff, but the important thing is that we do not need to buy a new computer just yet and that makes me very happy.

My iBook on the other hand, remains dead. I'm certain its also a hard drive problem since the hardware test doesn't even recognize that there IS a hard drive (and everything else checks out fine) So that still needs to go to a specialist to recover the data.

More later when I have time to unload some pictures from the camera. Maybe an update shot on my nearly done Chickami too!
