Cassidy’s 8th Birthday
September 2nd, 2006Happy Birthday baby girl. I can't believe its been 8 years already.. time flies!
We had a fabulous day. Cassidy and I ventured out all by ourselves for some clothes shopping, We finished up our outing with some food shopping to pick up all the fixings for her requested birthay dinner: roasted chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy and sweet peas. Instead of traditional birthday cake, this year she requested strawberry shortcake.. we improvised and had strawberry angel food cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. YUM!

Oh boy, no kidding times flies… I’m taking one to college today and it seems like she was blowing out eight candles just a little while ago. ; )
