Socks That Rock "Fire On The Mountain" Retro Rib socks from IK (Winter 2004?)I love the colors, but look at that pooly stripey thing its doing... Have I mentioned how much I hate the pooly stripey effect? I love the feel of the yarn.. its like butter, but I hate the way the colors pool in that diagonal stripey pattern. See the bottom of the heel? If the whole sock looked like that I'd be jumping for joy.

Who knows, I may love them when I'm done. We'll see.

I think I got my knitting groove back though, and that is good. It seemed that lately, I'd spend so much time knitting, but there would be absolutely no progress.. sort of like knitting in slow motion. But suddenly I'm showing progress.. and it makes me want to knit more.

In other knitting. The felted Fiber Trends Llama is almost done. I finished knitting yesterday and promptly put it in the washer. One cycle and it felted perfectly. Its currently drying, so I'll post a picture once he's stuffed and finished. It came out too cute and I must make another (this one is brown, next one shall be gray!)
