For TWO days in a row, my server went down (no blog, no email) all day long. This wouldn't normally bother me so much, but two.days.in.a.row, with no warning of server maintenance or anything - so who knows. Oh and I'm still sick, hence, the grumpiness.

Then theres Netflix, which I normally love. But its getting frustrating when they check movies in that I mailed back, but they wait until the next day to mail the next on the list out. Like yesterday.. they received the movies I sent back. Dead Man's Chest was next on my list, did they send it, OR send the next on the list? NO.. and now today Dead Man's Chest says "long wait".. so if I want to see it before the new year, I might as well just go get it from Hollywood or Blockbuster. Netflix is so not worth it anymore to me. If we gave up Netflix, I could put that cost into my cable bill and add HBO (which I miss desperately)

And my girl Cassidy has been knitting. I've tried to teach her a million times, but she gets frustrated and throws down the needles. On Sunday she went to spinning guild with me and brought her needles and yarn. Towards the end, she asked me to cast on 25 stitches. Much to my surprise for 24 hours, every spare moment she had, she was working on it. As of yesterday morning she had about 40 rows. Granted there were some loose stitches, and I had to go back a few times to pick up dropped stitches, but my girl was knitting! Why the grumpiness? Just when I was going to take a picture of this beautiful inaugural knitting project... I found that she was standing there ripping it out, "because of those ugly holes". To me those first mistakes were absolutely beautiful! She has casted on, and working at it again.. Maybe I'll have another chance at a picture.

Another post about Christmas knitting (or the lack thereof) will come sometime today, IF my server doesn't go down again!
