Mittens Mittens Mittens!
December 11th, 2006
Nearly finished Anemoi Mitten number 1, still lacking a three needle bindoff at the mitten tip, as well as completed thumb. I ended up not working on the Malagaiter at all on the trip, instead pulling this out. I also ended up knitting on it while watching an extremely corny Christmas movie with my mom on the Lifetime channel.

Detail of the palm in all its stranded goodness!

More stranded goodness.
Despite some errata from Eunny, that I was unable to adjust because I was out of town and away from a computer, and despite a few oops moments from myself.. I'm extremely proud!
On the way home from Pennsylvania yesterday afternoon, I didn't feel like trying to bind off the tip, OR pick up the thumb, so I casted on the Spinderella felted mittens instead (excellent car knitting). By the time we finished watching Pirates Of The Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest last night, mitten one was done, and second one cast on.
I'm a mitten making machine!

Gorgeous mittens! I love that pattern, but haven’t had the courage to try them. Good job!

Those are really gorgeous. I bought that pattern too the moment her post popped up on my bloglines. As soon as my oldest is home from college so I can measure his hands I’ll be sorting out some yarn for a pair for him.
