Wherein Carla just may have a new obsession…
December 14th, 2006PAPER!
So I went out last night to JoAnn and A.C. Moore on a quest for scrapbooking paper and cardstock. Having never really ventured down those aisles, I was remarkably overwhelmed by the choices. And this was just two chain stores - God help my credit card balance if I ever make it into an actual paper or scrapbooking store!
I especially love the vellum ones (red and white) however the very large one I made is not very stable. The little ones though.. oh so precious. These were created in just an hour last night, I haven't even started to cut the other papers I purchased! I also came home with a bound note card kit in retro designs (I love me some retro colors/designs!)
I admit to being a stationery fan, but never really thought about making my own! Must.find.more.pretty.containers.to.display.paper.globes!
Additionally, I will be trying to make these 3D paper snowflakes today.

I love those! How wide are the strips & how many per ball? I tried looking at the Martha Stewart site and didn’t see anything about them. Ooh, must buy some brads tomorrow & paper!

Very pretty. You’d like the cabin on Black lake. Retro kitchen, original too.
We have two very nice scrap books my mom brought for the kids two years ago. They still sit, along with the kids’ lives in paper, probably never to be done. It’s a huge project and will probably never happen.
