All that glitters
January 9th, 2007oh..my..gawd.
This stuff is amazing, and Kathy's suggestion for spinning from the batt in a back and forth motion just rocks.
One batt all spun up, resting beautifully on the second batt (which is now being worked on). Can you see how the lighter green in the batt spun into golds and bronzes? This is my favorite part of spinning - the way color transforms.
I think I'm in love...

Well, I’m not a knitter or a spinner, but I have to admit, reading your blog has caused me to dream about spinning. I mean dream, not daydream…. too funny. It seems like a great way to unwind … though maybe spinning is really considered as winding, not unwinding????

Wow, that is beautiful. (and thanks for the tip on my blog about the fabric glue not working for the clogs…I had been thinking possibly using it.)

Oh man that is gorgeous. Please reassure me that someday gorgeous yarn like that will be on my wheel too?
At the moment all that comes out is a tangle mess:(
