Lace Wings Fixation Socks that I started a while back. On Christmas day I picked up the unfinished first sock, knocked that out of the park, then spent a week working on the second one. I was weaving in ends around 11PM on New Years Eve. I LOVE em!
More Fixation socks for an upcoming family birthday. Plain 4x3 rib. Mind numbing, but quick knitting. I started these while having coffee with the gals at Wegman's Cafe on New Years Day... and they're zooming along.
Ryan's First Birthday sweater. I decided to make him a Weasley from Alison's fabulous pattern. I swapped out the Rowan Tweed that it calls for, and am using WoolEase from my stash. I'm zooming through this as well, since I started it yesterday morning and I'm now 9" into the 13.5" back of the sweater. The front will have a white "R" on it just like Ron Weasley's sweater. The green and white was chosen because Ryan's Mommy and especially Daddy are insane crazy obsessed Philadelphia Eagles fans.
Shockingly, I am getting proper gauge, both stitch and row, by going down to US4 needles!

And this long overdue public thank you to my rockin' SP who sent me a beautiful, handmade Christmas package! Orange yarn (whats not to love, huh?) Sandalwood and Lemon scented soaps, Sandalwood oil from The Body Shop, that smells heavenly and is sooooo me, Christmasy green stitch markers that included earing loops (LOL! Nice touch SP!) Not pictured is the delicious orange pistachio biscotti that was consumed nearly right away. The white and dark chocolates rolled in crushed pecans, also consumed promptly. And the homemade preserves, already dipped into and residing in the fridge.
Thank you SP, you are incredibly generous!

Very cute socks. I can’t wait to start knitting on Saturdays again. I plan on resuming the group in mid January. It’s always fun knitting with the gals.
