March 24th, 2007I'm energized this morning. I'm so proud to be a democrat today. My party's leadership stood up and did the right thing. Did what we asked them to do last November when we went to the polls.
Though some in the media are trumpeting this as a partial win for Bush because he has promised to veto the house bill. I say its a win win situation for the country, the troops, us. If he does go the veto route, his war ends sooner than September 2008 when the bill asks troops to pull out.

Amazing that you found a video - thanks for that. Peace train, take this country. A woman singer did a cover of it a couple of years ago, can’t remember who. I’m totally psyched that Pelosi went and talked to Assad, too, with Dubya having a hissy fit and her acting like–well, a responsible adult. Kinda like what a national leader is supposed to be doing.
