Ready to give

April 5th, 2007

Soaked, pinned, blocked, dry, ready to give to Gram. I am absolutely tickled with how it came out, although I admit I could have stretched it a bit more in the width but I ran out of room (mental note: buy another foam letter puzzle - speaking of which, this is a very cheap alternative to a blocking board!)

Worth mentioning.. the pattern details 6-7 repeats. I went with 6 because of time restraints, but I'm glad I did or it might be too large, even though I'm of the opinion that a shawl can never be "too large"

Around a year ago on this day..

I LOVE it, Carla — so gorg! I’m thinking of buying that foam for a blocking board — looks like a good thing to use.

Lovely. Took the morning shiver off just looking at it. Thanks for tagging me with the meme. Most of the blogs I read are private… but I will tag 5 others and do my post this weekend.

That shawl is just gorgeous. It looks so delicate yet so warm. The color is beautiful. Good job!

Love the alternate use for the foam puzzle.
