Getting serious about Sockapalooza 4
June 8th, 2007But first I need to gush just a smidge over The Loopy Ewe! Look at all that loot!

I ordered the Louet Gems Fingering for my pal's Sockapalooza 4 socks, but I couldn't pass up the sock blocker key chain. Look.. a sock pattern for the key chain! And this cool little set of cards to inventory my knitting needles! And Regia Silk and Bamboo samples! And And... my Sockapalooza gift.. a very cool little book, "Knit Notes For Socks" ready to have info filled in. And of course Loopy (read about the Loopy post card at this link)
Honestly Sheri, if your reading this, I'm blown away. Not that I think shopkeepers need to give away stuff to keep customers coming back, because in my opinion its all about quality product and speedy shipping (and you've exceeded the bar on those fronts). But these are some very useful "extras" which I seriously appreciate!
Additionally, I have some MamaLlama yarn in the colorway Vino coming too (I couldn't decide simple pattern/multicolor yarn or intricate pattern/single color yarn). And need I mention that yarn with the name Mama Llama simply cannot be passed up? {waving madly at Llamie}
As for the pink Louet Gems yarn, I'm leaning towards Cookie A's Twisted Flower pattern or Eunny's Bayerische socks
The MamaLlama Vino? Not sure yet, but possibly Cookie A's Monkey Socks

Wow what a boatload of goodies. I like the 2nd sock pattern best. BTW, the url is missing the first “ht” part of http and it doesn’t link correctly.

Ooh, that Gems is a lovely color. And, of course, it goes without saying that The Loopy Ewe rocks!

Hello from Calgary, Canada. I have never heard anything but praise for the Loopy Ewe. The Gems is a lovely clear pink and I’m sure will make gorgeous cabled socks.
