What a way to start the summer
June 21st, 2007
Care to take a guess? Recognize the rash?
Yes, its Dylan's first annual poison ivy outbreak. And since it comes so early this year, before the first day of Summer, you can bet there will be at least one, if not two more rashes yet to come further in the season. The goofy smile was to merely open his eyes (nearly swollen shut!) Thankfully our pediatrician is not going to make us come in, knowing Dylan's poison ivy history, and has called in some prednisone for him.
And, today marks the end of another school year. Mercy.

LOL poor you (and poor Dylan). Summer is not starting well.
We still have a week of school left, damned if I know why. I am more ready for it to be over than the kids are.

Ouch! We found a bunch of poison oak in our yard and Corey went around spraying the heck out of it to kill it. A neighbor pointed a bit out to us growing on his fence and darn if we didn’t have it everywhere. We think Morgan already encountered it once, unexplained itchy rash on one arm that spread after scratching it. Thankfully it didn’t get too bad.
Hope Dylan feels better soon! Poor kiddo..on his face even.

Mercy is right! Pook kiddo. It’s bad enough to get that stuff on your arms and legs, on the face is darn near unbearable!
