Its Hades hot again.

Yesterday was brutal, and today at only 10AM, its already over 80 degrees in the house. So we're drinking lots of water, have the fans strategically placed for maximum cooling and air flow, and are indulging in popsicles or ice cream at least once a day.

Something we also do on outings, especially on hot days, is always take water bottles so they can be filled on the fly (at the park, the zoo, the mall.) The downside of that vs. buying bottled water is that the source is sometimes the luck of the draw. We've refilled our bottles at the park, and it tasted horrid, either with a stagnant taste or overly chlorinated. So I'm actually very interested in these portable water filters, to keep with our on the go bottles. I've seen similar products at discount stores and we've considered buying them, but at 20.00+ each, we've talked ourselves out of the purchase. These seem much more economical and would work with our existing bottles.
