Shes due, WHEN?
July 17th, 2007So Richard's mom calls around lunch time to let me know that shes on her way to be with Erin (Richard's sister), as she thinks shes in labor. I'm all like "whaaaa? its too early! shes not due til the middle of August.. right?" To which Mom replies "Well, I was going to leave you a note on your blog when you mentioned having a while to finish that sweater. Shes due August 1st. How did you come up with the middle of August?"
Can I now muster up some positive thought from knittyblogland, that this is a false alarm? (Oh gawd, Erin would kill me.. I know shes miserable and wants it over) But duuuudes I have way too many deadlines right now... and I haven't even started the hat and booties, much less seamed the sweater.
I called mom's cell phone - no answer. This does not bode well for me peeps. The bright side? Another baby girl in the family may be on her way. And this is a very good thing indeed. Babies rule, and especially baby girls rule. Why? Because they're much easier to knit for!
*DISCLAIMER* While its a fact, baby girls are easier to knit for. I'm an equal opportunity auntie, baby smoocher and sniffer. I loves me some brand new baby sniffing. What an incredible scent!

I agree… baby girls are easier to knit for and more fun!
