Dreaming of Paris

August 27th, 2007

Ever since Cassidy was first read the book, "Madeline" at the age of two, she has wanted to visit Paris. And every time she sees a picture of the Eiffel Tower, she pleads to visit. This hasn't fallen on deaf ears.

While I'm not shopping Paris Hotels, I do consider this to be an ideal trip to take her on for her sweet 16 birthday (it seems so far off, but its really not!) I know she would love to go now, but I want her to be old enough to enjoy, and appreciate the experience.

Around a year ago on this day..

You know, I was just talking to my mom about going to Paris this morning. She was lamenting the fact that my cousin isn’t married with kids, and I said, “If I weren’t married with kids, I’d be visiting Paris twice a year.” It has always been my dream. I’ve never been, but I think it would be a lovely idea. She can learn French for free if her library allows online use of Rosetta Stone. I’ve been practicing myself.

I can’t wait to hear about her 16th B-day trip. A bien tot!
