I've sort of slipped out of home improvement mode lately (the summer has slipped by, and my kitchen still isn't painted.) Mostly because the aspects of home improvement which I enjoy.. the design, the change of color, changing light fixtures has taken a back seat to estimates for foundation work, paving.. and so on.

Our bathroom light fixtures are updated and quite modern, but our dining room lighting, while timeless and pretty, could use updating. Perhaps if I ever get around to removing the hideous wall paper in that room, we'll shop for chandeliers too.
