Slingling Baby Sling Review
August 27th, 2007
Last week I made mention of doing some actual reviews and I'm finally getting around to writing about Slingling baby slings.
First I need to mention, this sling is beautiful. The fabric I chose: stunning. The stitching: perfect. The packaging it came in: very professional and much better than what I expected. The instructions for use: easy.
But with that said, I tried for a solid week to get Connor comfortable in this sling, before I eventually gave up. Its strange because we've used a non adjustable/pouch style sling in the past with no problem. In fact we've used many different types of slings in the past.. so I'm no newbie to baby wearing.
I'm looking forward to taking this along on our trip to Pennsylvania this weekend, to try this Slingling sling with Olyvia and maybe Ryan and see if I get better results with a younger toddler. I have high hopes, as it is a nicely designed and made sling.

earlier today i read a post at soulemama wherein she described the mei tai she carries her babes around in. also linked to a pattern for making one, if you think that style might work better. it’s one that allows you to tote your tot on your back. here’s the link: http://soulemama.typepad.com/soulemama/2007/08/flashback-fri-1.html

I just came back from Pennsylvania and you’re headed there -lol-
That is a really pretty baby sling!! My youngest is only 6 and I swear there were no pretty baby slings when he was a tiny little baby. I ended up not using a sling at all anyhow and just carried him around on my hip. He was the only one of my kids that hated being swaddled. He would wriggle, squirm, and cry!
