Better late than never, eh?

Can you see everyone huddling around those conference tables? That was prime real estate considering the weather. This was one of the few sheltered areas where folks could get out of the rain.

Count those umbrellas! The DJ from Movin 100.3 was great at keeping everyone's spirits up, reminding us that there on the horizon, there actually was some blue sky.

I felt so bad for the massage therapists. They had set up for a huge crowd, but the rain kept them all huddled (look at all those massage chairs unused and getting wet?)

Cassidy really had a good time, despite a sore throat. We both brought our iPods, but never even turned them on. Instead we talked the whole time.

I intended to take many more pictures, but the issue of the rain, and my over-protectiveness of the new camera.. this is the best that I got. In the shots I was able to get, it doesn't show the large number of people that did come out and brave the cold rain and wind. With the weather as it was, I was certain turnout would be low.I also want to again, extend my immense thankfulness for the donations we received towards our walk (we received even more after the walk!) Next year, we can only hope for nicer weather, and a healthy family, so that all six of us can attend.
