Tuesdays are for spinning
September 11th, 2007or, at least thats what Stephanie says.

It looks a smidge darker in the picture because it was still wet, but its really a lovely light brown alpaca, blended with some white merino. I spun it as a lace weight single, but I'm still unsure which lace pattern I'll use.. so I'm still looking.
I plan to do some spinning later this afternoon too. I still have some dyed green alpaca/merino/silk, also being spun a lace single that needs finishing so that I can get back to spinning the striped sock yarn I started earlier this summer.

wow, Carla. That’s lovely! I’m always so amazed by what you have learned to do! Spinning sounds like it would be so meditative and relaxing.
