Curses

November 7th, 2007

After finally getting the kids in bed I was really looking forward to watching some of my Wednesday night tv, only to find that the CMA awards took over ABC for the night. CMA? Like, hasn't that been shoved off to cable nowhere land yet?

Anyway, I ended up looking for something to watch on Showtime, where I found a documentary called "All We Are Saying", where Rosanna Arquette interviews musicians about everything from faith, family, touring, the industry and addiction. Twas excellent. Joni Mitchell, Peter Gabriel, Maynard James Keenan, Perry Farrell..

Speaking of Perry,  Jane's Addiction actually.. I really got in the mood for some..

    I was so looking forward to sitting on the couch while knitting and watching TV. I didn’t realize that my favorite shows weren’t on. I had to stick with the Style Network while I knit. Not bad, but not what I was looking forward to. But with this Writer’s strike, I will be stock piling the Queue on Netflix, so I can’t watch movies and knit.

    I was furious about the CMAs being on. I suffer if I don’t have my Private Practice fix!

    I admit I was a little unhappy at first, but I decided to embrace my inner Honky Tonk Woman this year… and I really enjoyed the CMAs!
