More Snow
December 4th, 2007
Our snow fall as of 2:30 PM, and its still snowing. New forecast predicts an additional 7-10" by tomorrow afternoon. The streets are pretty clear right now, but that will likely change as the temperature dips at sundown. Richard has to teach again tonight (ugh!) And please, oh please, not another snow day tomorrow.
Loren says "enough complaining" but ugh.. I just hate this weather. I'm soooo over the "thats so pretty" stage, and have moved quickly into "Florida doesn't sound so bad" territory.
I trust Richard got home ok.
Indeed he did. And early too (I called him to let him know the roads were horrid and perhaps he should send his students, many who commute quite a distance, safely HOME.) Tonight however, I'll be in the same boat as last night.. worrying.

I know what you mean about worrying - my husband gets out of work at midnight. I ask him to call me if he doesn’t leave on time and that confines my worrying to a specific time segment. Good tires + drive slow and all will be well.

Well, I have to admit, it looks so nice from here! But I know the thrill is short lived and the mess lingers on.
BTW, I think you were a Laurie B. fan at one time, is that right? Did you see that we got to go a concert on Sunday? It was lots of fun, plus we got to meet her in person backstage, which was quite a thrill!

Ooooooh look at the snow. We miss *a little bit of it* but not that much of it. LOL! I think the first snow anywhere is beautiful but after that it becomes gray, brown, icky YUCK! Trust me, you don’t want FL…I know.
However, somewhere in the middle wouldn’t be bad.

I love the snow, that is if I don’t have to drive in it. Yet that seems like a lot. Here is Seattle area it’s mostly just rain and a little flooding this week for some people. I agree, somewhere in the middle sounds good. Here we miss the sun. Hope everyone gets home safe and you can enjoy good hot tea/chocolate and cookie.

I was at the Florida stage a while ago! You got more snow than us, nya nya nya nya nya nya. All the more reason to move down this way and start your farm!
Actually my complaining was in reference to goolefart. I figured it was time to move on and complain about something else!

What a great photo. Snow! We have a little… more expected, in the forecast for every day this week. COLD this morning — minus 4 on my way to work (said the radio DJ).
