One sock down..

March 20th, 2008

One more to go. And I'm nearing the halfway point on that one! So I'm not knitting as fast as I would like to on these, but I'm not disappointed with my progress either.

Out of the 20 pictures taken, only these two are worth sharing. The rest were all a blurry flurry of orange and green. So you see, its not just my motivation to blog taking a hit recently.. its also my ability to take decent pictures!

As for that, now that I've mentioned it again.. Its not that I've lost all motivation to blog, but perhaps I'm running out material? Maybe I'm sick of blogging about knitting? Maybe I'm regretting moving all political content to liberalmom? Scratch that.. I haven't been blogging there lately either! Or maybe its just the time of year.

In any case, if someone has some motivation to spare, or fodder.. please send this way.

Around a year ago on this day..

You are not alone. I wish I could blog about other things, but I based my blog on specific crafty areas, not about home life, moving, baby, etc. So there isn’t much to write about. I completely understand what you are going through. But I do love those socks. They are cute. And the pics are great; even for 20+ shots. All you need are a couple.

Hang in there, the Holiday Exchange fiber is just a two weeks away. Just think of all the pictures you can post about dyeing, spinning and knitting it! Maybe the weather will even cooperate and we can finally think spring instead of this depressing cold and damp.

Must be spring fever. Seems so hard to sit at a computer for me, too. Unless it’s playing Sudoku - then I’m riveted.

I think it is the time of year. It’s the turn of the solstice. I think your blogging mojo will come back soon. And when it does, we’ll be here ready to read! You could always find some silly meme. Miss you!

The socks are fabulous. The knitting looks perfect and the yarn is cute as can be. Don’t worry about the blog. Just keep knitting and show us what you have accomplished. That inspires the rest of us.
